Wednesday, October 21st | 7-10pm

Tom Ayres is mostly known as an eclectic, electric guitarist, moving to The Bay Area in 1998 with his wife, Angelina Moysov, forming the band Persephone's Bees, whose first album was released in 2006 on Columbia Records. Tom has performed and recorded from Marin to Moscow since then, recently featured on Grace Potter's latest record "Daylight." Locally, Tom performs with The Red Room Orchestra.

Javi Jimenez and Ross Howe: Gypsy Jazz Night

Thursday, October 22nd | 7-10pm

Javi Jimenez, a Spanish guitarist based in San Francisco Bay Area presents a night of gypsy jazz along with Ross Howe celebrating the music of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli and the Hot Club of Paris. Javi and Ross have been playing gypsy jazz together for over 5 years. Their style is very open and often incorporates Latin or flamenco style of influences while always maintaining the jazz concept of the improvisation.


Friday, October 23rd | 7-10pm

SwinGatto is a swing and gypsy jazz band based in the Bay! Originally founded in London in 2014. The project currently features Joe Yamamoto on the violin and Antonio Feula on guitar. The band's repertoire includes original gypsy jazz songs as well as Django Reinhardt covers and many other great tunes from the 1920s and 1930s. Check out some of their live tracks here!


BRUNCH with Citizens Jazz

CITIZENS JAZZ is an Oakland based band rooted in the traditions of jazz, soul, funk, Latin, with an added level of experimentation. Led by upright & electric bassist Caroline Chung joined by Berkeley based guitarist Khalil Foal-Anthony. Together they Jazz it up while you sit back in our patio, looking effortlessly cool sippin' on one of out specialty brunch cocktails!

The Peace Formula

Sunday, October 25th | 7-10pm

The Peace Formula is a psychedelic folk improvisational group consisting of guitarist Gregorio Figeroa and drummer/multi-instrumentalist, Adam Coopersmith of the San Francisco rock band BOLERO! and Big Sur based guitarist/sound healer Jake Padorr.

Their music is an exploration of the blending of genres, including eastern raga, folk, spiritual jazz, blues, and otherworldly sounds.

BRUNCH with Joseph Anthony Cañas!

Sunday October, 25th | 12-3pm

Joseph Anthony Cañas is 25 year old guitarist, harmonica player, and singer who enjoys playing the genres of music that derive from American Blues. He has played in three bands covering many styles from hip hop to rock n roll. As a fan of improvisational jamming, He has recently decided to adopt a one-man-band style and travel around the Bay Area to see where music can take him... and that’s how he ended up here at Curio! Thatcher Boomer is an indomitable force within the SF Bay Area music scene, performing mainly with the John Brothers Piano Company as a pianist and clarinetist. His repertoire of music pulls classical influences into speakeasy swing and stride piano. Prepare for original songs, standards, and more than a nod to the classics - high energy bop and slow dance sweetness to circle your night.
